Capacitor Charging/Discharging

Introduction: The purpose of this experiment is to play with capacitors to charge and discharge along with figuring out time constants for capacitors.

Procedure:

First we calculated the capacitance using the given information

From the capacitance we can figure out the resistance using Tao=RC

Here we are building the circuit in the lab manual

Here is Sunny Lee clipping some wires together

Connecting the wires to the breadboard

Here we are about to record some data using the DMM

Getting the logger pro ready to use for the next part

I just installed logger pro on my laptop, sweeeet!

Our beautiful graph, just as expected the discharging was much faster than charging
